Dermabrasion is a procedure used to remove and/or greatly improve the deep lines and wrinkles around the mouth. It basically consists of the “sanding” of the top layers of the skin using a special motorized brush. In the past, dermabrasion was traditionally used with a high-speed rotating brush. This method gave very good results but often resulted in a very long recovery due to the degree of “injury” to the skin. We use a newer, low-speed rotating brush system that minimizes injury to the skin, gives much better overall results, and a far faster healing time!
