  • Breast augmentation is a popular procedure for women looking to enhance or restore the size, fullness, and projection of their breasts. Many women choose breast augmentation to achieve their desired size, especially after changes in their body due to pregnancy, weight loss, or to address natural asymmetry between the breasts. This procedure offers the option of silicone or saline implants, allowing patients to achieve a natural and long-lasting result that suits their individual goals

  • A breast lift, or mastopexy, is a cosmetic procedure designed to raise, reshape, and firm the breasts by removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue.

Many women consider a breast lift after experiencing changes that cause the breasts to sag, such as pregnancy and breastfeeding, weight loss, aging, or hereditary factors. In addition to lifting, a breast lift can also correct the position of the areola, which may have shifted over the years. The result of this procedure is a more shapely and youthful-looking breast.

  • Losing a breast is a profoundly challenging experience, but it doesn’t have to be permanent. At PSC Stockton, we offer breast reconstruction as a way to restore your appearance and help you regain confidence in your body and yourself.

For many women, the treatment for breast cancer involves the removal of one or both breasts. While this procedure can be life-saving, it often comes with emotional and physical challenges. Breast reconstruction is an integral part of the recovery process and is a viable option for many mastectomy patients.

Dr. Kludt is highly trained in the latest and most advanced techniques for reconstructing breasts after mastectomy or breast conservation therapy. Generally, breast reconstruction is divided into two categories: alloplastic reconstruction, which uses tissue expanders and permanent implants, and autologous reconstruction, which uses tissue from other body parts. Most reconstruction plans are staged to carefully reconstruct both the breast and the nipple-areolar complex carefully, ensuring a natural match to the unaffected breast.

  • Breast reduction surgery removes excess breast tissue, glandular mass, and skin to achieve a smaller, more proportionate breast size. This procedure also helps alleviate the pain and discomfort that can come with overly large breasts, such as limitations on physical activity and chronic back, neck, and shoulder pain. The result is often a smaller, more attractive, and youthful-looking breast.

The most common method of breast reduction surgery involves an 'anchor'-shaped scar on the breast. During the procedure, the nipple is typically lifted to a higher, more natural position. Contrary to popular belief, the nipple is usually not detached from the body; it is repositioned. A scar extends from the new nipple site down to the fold beneath the breast and along that fold for a variable distance. This approach removes excess skin, breast tissue, and fat, resulting in a more comfortable and aesthetically pleasing breast shape.

  • Most women who undergo breast augmentation surgery experience excellent results and enjoy the benefits for many years. However, there are some cases where additional corrective surgery may be needed.

Situations that might require follow-up procedures include:

    • Implants that are very old and need updating (e.g., implants older than 15-20 years)

    • A failed implant (such as a rupture or other issues)

    • A desire to change the implant size (whether larger or smaller)

    • A preference to switch implant types (e.g., from saline to silicone or vice versa)

    • Addressing complications such as scar tissue around the implant, implant malposition, or infection

    • The decision to remove the implants for any reason

These corrective options can help address any issues and ensure continued satisfaction with your breast augmentation results.

  • “Dr.Kludt is amazing! I'm a pretty modest woman so the thought of showing my breasts to anyone was a little bit intimidating but Dr. Kludt completely respected me and my modesty. He made sure I was made well aware of how the procedure would be done, and answered EVERY question I had (and I had A LOT of questions) without making me feel like I was wasting his time. On my surgery day he communicated with both my mom and I before surgery and even called my mom the night of my surgery to check on how I was doing. I've never felt so taken care of by a doctor, and I'm so grateful for how considerate he was! I will definitely be coming back to him if I need anything else done!”
